about

Irmina Rusicka (b. 1990 in Włocławek) is a visual artist, author of installations, videos and research works. In her artistic practice, she crashed cars, repaired motorcycles, made an acrobatic star at the Mausoleum of Soviet Soldiers and collected money to make a hole in an art institution building. Her works combine social and political criticism with the existential dimension. Gallows humour and being pissed off are also palpable in her art. She works individually and in a duo with Kasper Lecnim. She lives and works in Warsaw.
